Jodie Peters BSc (Hons), MSc, NPQLBC

Founder

Hello there! I'm Jodie Peters, co-founder of One Safe Adult, and I'm delighted to have you on board for this training course. The journey of One Safe Adult began from my experiences in schools, where I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact a single caring adult can have on a child's life. Through years of working with children who have experienced trauma, I've learned that even small actions can lead to significant changes. I'm here to equip you with proven techniques that will empower you to make a difference. I understand the challenges faced by school staff and I believe that prioritising your well-being is essential in navigating the demands of school life.

Sheri Henry BSc (Hons)

Founder

Hi... I’m Sheri, I co-founded One Safe Adult because I’m all too aware of the difficulties children and staff face in educational settings and I believe that things can improve. I am a qualified social worker with a degree in psychology and a strong interest in human behaviour and the experiences that shape children and young people. With professional experience in therapeutic children’s homes and inclusion support within mainstream secondary schools, I understand the real challenges educators face. Through One Safe Adult, I am committed to equipping school staff with the confidence and practical strategies needed to maintain safe, supportive learning environments where every child can succeed.
